Twyrl Is Opening in Arlington Center

A new restaurant is on its way to Arlington Center, and it will move into the space where an eclectic dining spot had been.

Your Arlington is reporting that Twyrl is planning to open soon at Broadway Plaza in the old Madrona Tree space, with the upcoming dining spot offering freshly-made pasta, gourmet sauces, salads, grilled sandwiches, and beer and wine, with the space including an outdoor patio. The restaurant's Facebook page indicates that it will be open for lunch and dinner, though little other information is given on the eatery other than the info that was supplied by Your Arlington; as soon as we find out more--including a possible opening date--we will post an update here.

The Madrona Tree shut down last July after being in business for approximately five years.

The address for this new restaurant in Arlington Center is: Twyrl, 315 Broadway, Arlington, MA, 02474.

[April 28 update: According to a license application report within the town of Arlington website, Twyrl is also planning to offer pizza and crepes along with the aforementioned pasta, salads, and grilled sandwiches, and the owners are expected to meet with the town tonight about their request for a beer and wine license.]

[July 12 update: A post from Eater Boston mentions that Twyrl opens on Thursday, July 20.]
